北京：一保险公司的高管从公司卷走5亿元后，逃离上海。现已在斐济被捕。这位高管被当地媒体冠以 美女经理 的称号，现已由警方押解回上海。
The executive, Chen Yi, has been accused of using her charms to persuade customers to buy investment schemes without authorization from her employer, the Shanghai Fanxin Insurance Agency, worth 500 million yuan （$82 million）。
The money went into her bank account without the company getting any wiser or richer, sources said. The Shanghai police used the assistance of Interpol to track her down in Fiji. Authorities of the South Pacific island nation of Fiji also cooperated in her return, the official Xinhua news agency said.
Several Chinese bankers and insurance executives, who have been accused of large scale siphoning of funds have fled and settled in different parts of the world. Western governments routinely turn down Chinese request to send back officials facing investigation on the ground that they may be given capital punishment, which they oppose.
A worried China Insurance Regulatory Commission said in a statement that it would cooperate with police investigation and take additional measures to protect the interests of consumers. The case has drawn attention to insufficient controls on sale of wealth management products, which offer higher returns than bank deposits and securities.
